AI Sidekick - Your Instant Tech Brainstormer
PRODUCT: AI Sidekick — A lightweight problem solving and brainstorming tool powered by Generative AI.
PRODUCT GOAL: Help PMs, designers, and tech users quickly brainstorm actionable solutions for small but meaningful tech problems through a simple, interactive interface.
MY ROLE: Product Manager — Designed the end-to-end prompt flow, solution selection experience, and pros & cons display. Conducted research to identify user needs for a fast, frictionless brainstorming tool and iterated on a lightweight, usable experience.

CONTEXT AND GOAL
Tech users and product teams often spend excessive time navigating help docs, forums, or support channels to resolve small issues, slowing ideation and decision making.
AI Sidekick was built as a fast, structured sidekick that enables rapid brainstorming and evaluation of solutions while keeping the human in control.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
Small, everyday tech problems, from product improvements to user pain points, often require research that interrupts focus and wastes time. Teams need a streamlined way to surface, evaluate, and iterate on solutions efficiently.
OPPORTUNITY
Create a lightweight tool that generates multiple actionable solutions with pros and cons, allowing users to quickly assess trade-offs and move forward with decisions.
RESEARCH AND INSIGHTS
Analyzed common tech frustrations, user complaints, and product pain points.
Found that users and PMs prioritize speed, clarity, and actionable guidance over exhaustive analysis for rapid brainstorming.
Designed AI Sidekick to complement decision-making, not replace it: the system generates solution options, and the user evaluates and selects the best path.
Leveraged generative AI for prototyping and testing the brainstorming workflow, demonstrating AI as a tool for enhanced problem solving.
